In this photo is a normal February in Finland. Now this Februry 2020 is not normal, here is some snow and it is melting away, because it is raining again.
A normal January afternoon, not like today, raining, raining…
A portrait of an Eurasian Tree Sparrow.
The wind is blowing and all the leaves are falling down. The colourful autumn foliage is soon over.
This cute squirrel visited our yard today. The grey winter fur is falling off and new, brown summer fur is so shiny. Sorry about the date in these photos, I didn´t remember to take it off.
Once more our plum trees, now they are in full blossom and look like covered with cotton balls.
Suddenly today our yard was full of tiny birds, Eurasian Siskins.
Our three yellow plum trees are so full of blossoms that the camera couldn´t decide where to focus.
Do you have any idea how does it feel to see snowing now? I can´t tell it, because those words are not allowed here. Think positive, the sun will melt snow, before June for sure.

At noon was -!5°C/ 5°F when I noticed we have to go to buy groceries. So I made a list what we need.
Then clothes, it is COLD.
It was cloudy, not much light and the photos are taken mostly in the car with a phone.
The first stop was on our village, for oat seeds for birds. They had no seeds and they had thrown their Christmas tree out.
The second stop is for cat food. We are now in a town called Ikaalinen.
The third stop is for birds and for us.
The fourth stop is very well-known almost around the world.
Now we are ready to drive home. It is getting dark. In wintertime here is a blue moment before dark. It is now about 16.00 o´clock.
At home.
It is again time of Summer solstice, it is Midsummer. Our light nights are after Summer solstice getting darker till 21th of December. Here is some photos taken in our yard at midnight.
Cranes are arriving, they flew very high, so no photos, but we enjoyed their honking for hours.
After yesterday´s snowstorm all the signs of Spring have disappeared and we live in a totally white world.
Kaunista maaseutua vesistön varrella.
The sun and floating mist make together amazing lightshows for us.
These sunny and misty days have been excellent for taking photos.
